Ok guys here is what is going on. I have a family of of three little boys. Ages 11,8,6. They all three love to fish for anything but
Now the older two are starting to get hooked on muskies because I fish them as much as I can and they have netted a few and caught a couple. Now my plan is to take a couple trips up there with the older one or a buddy first. I would like suggestions of resorts and areas of the lake. I would like to start to learn a area and fish it on family vacations every year as the boys are growing up. Any comments are appreciated.

There are some great value type resorts at the NW Angle area that can have access to some good Muskie fishing. So I don't give preference to one over the other I'd suggest a Google search to determine which one is best for you.
Another great spot but a bit more pricey is Totem Resorts.... They are over near Sioux Narrows and have access to some good stuff too. Also in that area (Sioux Narrows) are many family resorts that do a great job, and have decent Muskie fishing.
Finally (a part of Totem Resorts) is Wiley Point Lodge (where I'll actually be this weekend....not chasing Muskies but Pike and smallies). The fishing in the part of the lake is nothing short of superb, but it's pricey and may be a bit much for smaller kids (the ride by boat is 45 minutes etc)
There are also some nice family run resorts by Morson, as well as Nestor Falls.
It's hard to beat LOW for kids and Muskies.

Yes I will be bringing own boat. Ranger 175T. I have been looking at resorts on the net for a while. I really like the areas of miles bay, sabakong bay. I think its just pick one and go from there.

Mylie's place in morson/Sab bay is where we stay and fish. The cabins are nice in my opinion and the weekly rates are great. I highly recommend staying there, shorter drive for us and good roads right to the resort. LOTW is awesome and you'll find fish no matter what part of the lake you decide.

My wife and I stayed at Mylies in Morson last year and we are excited to go back this year. The cabin we were in was nice, and having a cabin rate vs a per person rate will save you some money if taking a few family members, I think. We had tough fishing, but I think it was tough for many last year, and felt like it was a good area. Justin was very helpful with pointing us in the right direction when we got there, and I think would be willing to meet with you daily and mark a map up each day if you wanted him to.

My wife and I have been going to Mylies for the past three years and love it. We have been camping with our camper, but I see families all the time in the cabins. Justin and his family are great host. I also fish the NW angle every year and as far as muskie actions goes, it's great either area. You can't go wrong with Mylies for being family freaindly.

I'd recommend Sabaskong Bay Lodge. Easy area to fish. Just a few mile boat ride from a secured parking area in Morson, and lots of room to fish, and lots of places to fish. And lots of fish too. sabaskongbaylodge.com - good people
