Hey all,
Had the chance to get out to Webster again over the weekend.
Water temps were in the low 70's water was clear with some areas of murky water.
The weed beds that were a problem for navigation last weekend were down significantly, I don't know if it was recreational boat traffic or spraying but I didn't have to clear the prop at all unlike last weekend. Not that I complain about weeds, anything that slows the goofballs down is fine by me. I just didn't note any growth all the way to the surface this weekend.

Had some follows with nothing committing, but it was really nice weather until the rains and the front came in Saturday Afternoon. Fish activity seemed slower than last weekend, maybe the weather...

As a side note, if anyone is looking for lodging in the area, check out Chae and Renee Dolsen's Webster Lake guide service. They have two smaller cabins and a newly renovated larger one that sleeps 8 for very reasonable rates as well as boat rental on all the local lakes. We've stayed with them a couple of times, top notch service and amenities, highly recommended. They've gone the extra mile to make our trips a success on more than one occasion.

Chae is also a top notch guide, equal to anything northern Wisconsin has to offer and willing to share his info or chat if you can catch up with him between gigs..

HTH,
