Im just like any musky fisherman, we buy too much crap.

Turns out i had leaders left over from last year still in the package and i went ahead and bought some more. Do they go bad?

They were stored indoors inside a closet so away from the sun. Im not really sure how they would go bad but i figure id ask the pros just to be sure.

If you are refering to fluorocarbon leaders I would think that as long as they are not out of the package and in direct sunlight they should be good almost indefinitely. Ditto for other materials even less likely to have a shelve life such as wire, etc.

Fluorocarbon line and leader material is much less affected by sunlight/UV exposure than nylon monofilaments are. If it's been stored as you say, they should be good as new.
