Posts: 153 | Thinking of upgrading my rain gear. Anyone have any feedback on the Simms Pro Dry? It's pretty expensive. I bought the Tech H2O, last year and it leaked bad. Thanks Dan

Posts: 495 Location: midwest | I'm on year 4 with my set of Simms pro dry and it's as dry as it was on day one. Silver logo's started to peel a little last year and the rubber on the outside of one of the velcro closures delaminated some but was an easy fix. It's just like all the other simms product I have owned. It's all high quality but so is the price tag! I lucked out and didn't have to pay anywhere near full price for my suit so it wasn't too bad. I have in the past paid full price for rain jackets and waders through simms and was satisfied with the product I recieved for what I paid.

Posts: 16632 Location: The desert | I've got a pair of Simms gortex waders and wading boots that still don't leak....they're about 6 years old.

Posts: 495 Location: midwest | Their customer service is excellent. I have had a leak in waders that were 4 years old and sent them in. They resealed all the seams, patched any potential pin holes in the material replaced the neoprene feet on the waders under warranty. I had a seam leak on an 9 year old wading jacket and sent it in. They resealed the seams and shipped it back for a nominal fee (something like 25$) and this was on a 9 year old goretex simms drycoat. Unless things change, I will be a Simms customer for life.

Posts: 299 | I've got the ProDry jacket and bibs. They are by far the driest gear I've ever owned. I've spent several days this spring in non-stop rain wading a river for Chrome and 100% dry at the end of day. It's lightweight, perfect for all seasons except late fall and comfortable. It's really the perfect rain gear....
