I currently have a 6'6" medium heavy jerk baits rod and I personally think it is too small. Considering a 7'6" by st croix. Anybody have any suggestions?

I use an XH 7' 6" for jerk baits and like it a lot.
The extra length is great for Figure 8's.
Of course love my 9 footer For other baits.

8' Med/Hvy toothtamer rod is very good for Suicks, Reef Hawgs, Bobbies, Gliders, reg bulldawgs, and the like. Strong backbone for hooksets and good bend to keep the hooked; very versitile. The whole line of Rods is priced right, superb quality and great customer service.

another choice if you are looking specificially at st. croix would be the mojo muskie 7'2" XH. great price, a little bit shorter than the 7'6" but something to consider

I use a 7'6 "the Jerk" that I bought off Craig's list a couple years back\. Put one of those Lexa's on it last year. It does a nice job picking up slack on WTD's, Dive and Rise and Gliders and the action on the rod is awesome.
