Location: WI - Land of small muskies and big jawbones | Go to www.google.com and type in beer batter recipes. Probably hundreds to choose from. I like the cajun style Shore Lunch mix you buy at local grocery store. I'm nuts about musky fishing. Could you tell? |

Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | Here's a dry coating I have made for years: 2 cups flour 1 cup corn meal 4 Table spoons Lowry's 1 Tea Spoons Celery Salt 1/2 Tea Spoon pepper Put enough in a plastic bag to do the fish you are cooking, and drop moist fillets in and shake. Cook over MH burner until browned on both sides. For a different kick, use cajun, creole, or something else in place of the celery salt. Great for deep fryers, too. |

Location: in the white boat | My personal fave is to make a batch of Krusteaz Pancake mix just as the directions state, only substitute beer for water. Coat the fillets in the pancake batter, then into the fryer. |
