Subject: W.M.T. ANNOUNCES BOAT PROMOTION

The Wisconsin Muskie Tour(WMT) and Heckel's Eagle River Marina has teamed up to offer a $30,000.00 Ranger boat for the largest muskie, 50 inches or greater, caught during the 2003 tournament season. It is possible that a team at a W.M.T. muskie tournament registering the largest muskie(at least 50 inches) and capturing first place could win over $70,000.00 in cash and prizes for fishing just one tournament! The Ranger boat could be won at any W.M.T. tournament. There are 50 inch muskies residing in all our tournament lakes and a team only needs to enter any W.M.T. tournament to have a chance of becoming a big winner!!

The W.M.T. is proud to include Heckel's Eagle River Marina as a sponsor. From the beginning of the Wisconsin Muskie Tour, Heckel's have been a major part of the W.M.T. To say that we are pleased with Heckel's involvement would be a huge understatement. Heckel's committment to muskie fishing and to the muskie fisherman is unprecedented. The W.M.T. shares the goals of Heckel's Eagle River Marina to make muskie fishing bigger and better, insuring a bright future for the sport.

With the addition of the Ranger boat promotion and the increased support of sponsors for the 2003 season, the W.M.T. is offering more than $400,000.00 in cash and prizes to be given away this year(if all tournaments at full capacity). Offering close to a half million dollar purse would be more than two times the amount ever paid out by any muskie circuit in the history of muskie fishing. The Wisconsin Muskie Tour is ready to make muskie muskie fishing history!

To enter any one of the thirteen qualifying tournaments, you need not be a member of any club or organization: it's open to the public. The thirteen qualifying tournaments are:
WESTERN REGION:
Phillips Chain (Phillips)-June 7
Lake Mohawksin (Tomahawk)-June 21
Butternut Lake (Park Falls)-July 12
Moose Lake (Winter)-August 23
Manitowish Chain (Manitowish Waters)-September 13 & 14
EASTERN REGION:
Lac Vieux Desert (Land O'Lakes)-May 24
Lake Wausau (Wausau)-May 31
Boom Lake (Rhinelander)-July 5
Pelican Lake (Pelican Lake)-August 16
Eagle River Chain (Eagle River)-September 6 & 7
SOUTHERN REGION:
Pewaukee Lake (Pewaukee)-May 10
Madison Chain (Madison)-May 17 & 18
The Championship will be held September 27 & 28 on Pike/Round Lake Chain in Park Falls.

If you are interested in fishing the Wisconsin Muskie Tour in 2003 and want to find out for yourself why the anglers claim the W.M.T. is the best run muskie tournament they have participated in, log on to the website at www.WMTseries.com , e-mail us at [email protected] or call (715)369-1394.

Thanks and have a great season,
Tom McInnis
