Talked to a buddy of mine who is a conservation officer at the lake last night, and he has some older Garcias he wants to sell; probably 30 yrs. old maybe...anyone still use these? Thought I'd check the potential usage here on the board first before I told him to yard sale them. I told him to bring them Sat. evening and I would check them out as to their shape etc...

I have a couple really old reels, about that vintage. Ther work just fine. No fancy instant anti-reverse ot titanium line guide, but good solid reels.

I would tell him to e-bay them.
They usually go for around $100 each depending on condition.
Or snap them up for yourself.
