Anyone fishing Okoboji. I may be Iowa Bound in early/mid June. Any input would be helpful.

Keep casting!

Hey Fever that depends on the day you are coming up. If you are coming during the week it would be better, the weekend is very busy with jet skies and pleasure boats. Even if the wind is dead quite you'll still have four foot rollers from the boats. Early morning and evenings would be best for the weekend. Fish the north side of the lake, follow the shorelines. Also fish Emerson bay and the south east shore. In the spring alot of bass fishermen see muskies around the docks, could be worth a shot but never tried it. May want to try Spirit Lake its not as busy. Good luck.

'boji and Big Spirit open on May 21st. Same day every year.

Wishin was right, the jet ski/pleasure boat traffic on 'boji makes 'Tonka look like the dead sea. From Memorial Day until about Labor Day or so best fishing on 'boji is the first couple hours of the a.m. After that trailer up and head up the road a mile to fish Spirit. 'boji is CLEAR water, so the deep weedlines are best.

Shoot me an email if you want more info.
