I was wondering if anyone has any experience fishing Presque Isle, PA for musky. Never seen anyone out targeting them, but I know they are there. Any info?

I Fish them regularly early and late in the year, your right they are there. There is a small population that remains in the bay yearround, but for the mostpart they are migratory.Larger fish heading for deeper water following the shad and whitefish.haven't connected on a jumbino as of yet, some nice fish in the mid 40's range though. This is the year ,for a good opener ,conditions are right for the first time in about 7 years for the big fish to still be hanging around.Where are you from in the area ? Artie

I lived in Lake City, PA for several years and used to fish muskies on Presque Isle in spring and fall with some success. During the summer period I had better luck fishing Edinborogh Lake (Edinborogh) and LeBeoff (Waterford). Made a few trips down to Pymatuning also. Not a bad area for musky fishing. Good Luck in the upcoming season.
