| Hey everyone,
I was just wondering if you signed the petition on the muskies101.com site. It is an attempt to ban spearing on all muskie stocked waters in Michigan.
Thanks, Renegade |

Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | Actually quite a few signed from right here at MuskieFIRST. This is a VERY busy message board, so threads drift off pretty quickly. Thanks for the heads-up, got the thread back on top. |

| You notice on their mission statement type page, they never say anything about working towards/with anyone/thing regarding helping to preserve the fishery so they can continue to practice their heritage blah blah blah crap. I wonder whose heritage is more important, the fishs' heritage of living in a lake, reproducing, swimming, etc or the anglers' heritage of killing the fish off? I don't think those people realise that musky/pike aren't like Salmon here in michigan, they don't get billions of dollars to have millions of fish restocked every year. |

| There are pictures of some damn nice pike that should still be swimming too.
My uncles used to spear a lot when I was a kid. I remember thinking how cool it was that they were "catching" all these big fish. Now, it makes me sick. |
