Just got off the water after an 8 hour trip. Struck out and thinking I need a few more lures. Tried out my new tackle industries xtra heavy and loved it. I would appreciate any recommendations for must have lures or styles of lures. I really like throwing the bucktails. We have a lot of tigers and smaller musky. I'm in southeast PA. I have: 8" hellhound (actually lost it in a tree today) 2 dominatrix #8, 2 blade bucktails perch and red/silver small depthraider, perch small squirrely jake, black perch mepps single blade bucktail black and gold 2 bondy baits mini d, yellow topraider, black and white vexar, orange and grey magnum bulldawg, green and orange

Posts: 1283 | Medussa's are always on my boat and usually get the most action. Cant go wrong with some black bucktails in 8s and 10s With that said I think you have enough to get started. Oh and dont worry about striking out , it happens more often then not.

With those, it's just a matter of time.

Posts: 309 | If you are seeing fish, but they aren't biting, then certainly consider some new lures or colors. If you aren't seeing fish, then a new lure probably isn't the answer, and your best bet is to try and understand the lake a little more - which is of course easier said than done. But, you do need confidence in your lures. If you don't feel confident with what you have, then certainly buy some new ones. For what it's worth, my confidence lures are Jr. Double Cowgirls and TI Super Ds.

Posts: 402 | Keep working the lures you have it is a good group... add a WTD top water like a weagle and a jerk bait with up and down action like a suick.

Posts: 992 | I'd add a RO ninja tube in white rigged jerkbait style...one of the most versatile baits there is IMO
