| I was trying to unscrew the screw that holds in the locking washer on the handle of the reel and I accidently stripped the screw. I managed to get it out, but I need a replacement. Does anyone know how common this screw size is? Or do I have to order one from Abu Garcia? Thanks in advance. |

Location: MN | Assuming the screw itself is stripped and not the threads in the handle, take the handle to the hardware store and match it up. Make sure to get it short enough. Unbelievably they get $1.16 for this part. I have one and can mail it to you if you can't match one up. |

| I think I will try bringing it to the hardware store. The threads in the handle are not stripped so all is well. |

Location: NE Ohio | i'd just order a couple. the postage is going to be more than the parts. you'll end up using more $ in gas just going to the hardware to size anyhting up than the parts are worth. |

Location: MN | I'm sure Mikes or Daves or somebody stocks some or drop ships, but I get them directly from Abu (Pure Fishing). I don't know that there is a listing you can browse, or that cost is ever listed. I happen to know that one because I bought a couple for myself. |
