Location: Western PA | All the rod/reel questions on here and I haven't seen anything about the Trinidad 14a/12a models. Weighing in at under 15oz... Easy to Palm.... 38" IPT.... Ought to be very reliable...Seems like a really good lighter and more palmable option to the tranx and other high speed reels... Seems like everyone used the trinidads "Pre Tranx" for the 10s craze, but why not anymore ? Does everyone dislike non-level winds? |

| I thinks it's due to casting ability, the Trinidad A don't have a centrifugal casting brake (AFAIK) like the old trinidads did. But i think Bill Sandy use it, in some of the musky hunter episodes

| I think the Tranx has the Trini's guts with a few other changes. I'm sure somebody will correct me if I'm wrong. |
