I just need some input here.  I just went to get a Garmin 240 and they had Lowrance X91's for the same price, but the sales rep. talked me into a Eagle Fishmark 320.  Looks like it does all the same things with a 320X320 pixel screen, but it was $100 cheaper.  Did I do the right the thing or should I return it and go with one of the other ones mentioned above?  I'm not going to mount it on boat until I get some more info, so any comments are welcome on the three units.

All great units, LS.  Several folks were talking up the Eagle, so I think you did just fine.  I had the same dilemma recently and went with Lowrance X87 because I got the combo with bow mount from Cabela's.  But feature-wise the Eagle is top notch.  Not sure if anyone out there has comparative experience or data, hopefully an expert will appear

The Eagle is the same as the Lorance x87 except for one feature. The Lorance has a different "depth finder" option then the Eagle. Aside from that, they're identical. I just picked up 2 for my new boat. Probably the best finder for the money right now.

Mike, they're the same unit. That statement you made is why they still sell the units in the low price range. Buy what you want, but you could get the Eagle AND a C5 for the price of the Lorance.
