Location: Iowa | I just need some input here. I just went to get a Garmin 240 and they had Lowrance X91's for the same price, but the sales rep. talked me into a Eagle Fishmark 320. Looks like it does all the same things with a 320X320 pixel screen, but it was $100 cheaper. Did I do the right the thing or should I return it and go with one of the other ones mentioned above? I'm not going to mount it on boat until I get some more info, so any comments are welcome on the three units. |

Location: Kentucky | All great units, LS. Several folks were talking up the Eagle, so I think you did just fine. I had the same dilemma recently and went with Lowrance X87 because I got the combo with bow mount from Cabela's. But feature-wise the Eagle is top notch. Not sure if anyone out there has comparative experience or data, hopefully an expert will appear  |

Location: On the X that marks the mucky spot | The Eagle is the same as the Lorance x87 except for one feature. The Lorance has a different "depth finder" option then the Eagle. Aside from that, they're identical. I just picked up 2 for my new boat. Probably the best finder for the money right now.

Location: On the X that marks the mucky spot | Mike, they're the same unit. That statement you made is why they still sell the units in the low price range. Buy what you want, but you could get the Eagle AND a C5 for the price of the Lorance. |
