Went to Menards today and they are not selling E Tex but what's called Glaze Coat by Famowood? In the Minneapolis area were do I get E Tex? Thanks!

Michaels has it in 16 oz bottles and smaller. Get a coupon off their website before you go there or you'll pay too much for it.

I use glaze coat and it works fine. It's thinner than etex though. But I think the coating is harder

I have used the substitute of spar eurathane and mineral spirits mixed one to one, let soak for 20 minutes then hang dry for 2-3 days. seems to work pretty good.
