What kind of bait bucket fits into the livewell on a Tuffy? I have a 1760, but I believe the livewell is the same in most of the models (1760,1890,x-190,etc.).

I have about four buckets at home that fit perfectly in the little cut-out, but the lid won't close once the bucket is in place.

I want to say it's this one. But cant be sure. Think I still have mine in the garage somewhere if you want it.

I'm not sure that is it. At 4.5 quarts, that's half as small as the standard size minnow bucket. It also doesn't look like that one would take advantage of the livewell recirculating feature. It only has a removable lid, so I don't see how you would put fresh water into it.

Here's the description from Frabill's website, "Affordable alternative to foam buckets. Sized to fit shrimp minnows or leeches yet compact enough for coolers or live wells. + Super tough molded polyethylene design + Removable lid with snap-open access door + Integrated carrying handle + Capacity: 4.5"

The plano ones are the ones usually used on other boats I know. Check out the Plano 10 qt.

In the picture slamr provided, there is an inside section with flow through holes that goes in the livewell. Pretty sure they are Frabils. The solid outside bucket goes in storage for a pee bucket. or not.

I think I have mine at home yet after I sold the boat. I can check tonight if you want.

Thanks for the help guys. If the picture Slamr posted has an inside bucket than that will probably work. I already have the bucket that Captain posted, and it doesn't fit in the livewell. Actually it fits fine, but the lid can't fully close once it is in place. It may fit if I cut off the little white pieces that hold the handle on.

They used to make the soft/mesh style made-for-livewell baitwells that are pretty convenient for applications where bait separation/space/access issues are encountered. Not sure what the current availability is, but worth a look.
