Fished the chain on Sunday the 13th. We saw one fish casting early but did not get hooks into her. The water temps were 42 to 44 early warming up to as much as 48 in the afternoon. Talk to Phil Gutmann on the water. They had one small fish up north. There was another report of a 40-41 incher caught. Phil helped the DNR release three fish they had trapped in the southeast corner of Bluff. The largest one was a 44 inch male. Water is down. Looks like a foot and a half to two feet. Trolled for a few hours. Not sure there is trolling bite yet.

There is still time to enter the Chain Challunge. Should be a great time.

Joe Trisilla caught the fish and it was 41" and quite healthy. I attached a picture for all the chain lovers to adore. I'm sure ToddM will say this fish was lost on its way from Pewaukee to the river.

Nice fish!!! Background a little fuzzy but I think I have it figured out.
Looking forward to the Challunge. If you have never fished a tournament, this is a good one to cut your teeth on. Low pressure and a real good bunch of guys. Great raffle, good eats and FREE beer. Oh yea! prize money.

Could not get out this weekend. Talk to Phil Gutmann today. He fished on Sat. and had four fish up. Didn't get any of them. Water temps were sitting at 48. There was a report that a crappie fisherman got a 41 incher. Sorry, you can not use dead or live crappies in the tournament.

There is still a few spots left for the tournament.

I wonder why Sean doesn't fish this tournament. I would think he would do very well in it. Maybe someone who knows him should talk to him about it. There are still a few openings.
