| I'm looking for a reel to use for light musky/pike/bass baits.
The lightest bass bait I will be throwing is a 7" senko. I'm not sure of the weight but i think it's over 1 oz.
The heaviest will be about 3 oz.
The price is about the same for both reels, specs are very similar too. which one would you prefer?
Or u can suggest any others. Although I am a left hand retrieve |

Location: Grand Rapids MN | I have both the Revo and Komodo. I like both but for what you're looking to do I would go with the Komodo. Really comfortable, good line pick up, casts well, and is cheaper. My Revo has given me no issues for a number of years now while the Komodo needed a little rework from the factory but I was well taken care of. 3 yr warranty for a reel at that price point is hard to find also. |

Location: New Jersey | That Komodo is a great reel. I think it has like 11 ball bearings in it and it's built solid. I actually did a comparison that will be in the May issue of Field and Stream between the Tranx PG, NaCl, Lexa 400HS and the Komodo, and while they all have their pluses and minuses, I got by far the best casting distance from the Komodo. It's a shockingly good reel and it holds its own against some of the more popular reels. |

Location: Detroit River | I have a Revo Toro 5.4, a Curado 301E, & the Komodo 350 all lefties. By far I like the Revo Toro the best. It casts further & much smoother than the other 2. It lays the line on the spool nice & even. I like the Komodo the second best but haven't had much use with it. The Curado casts the least distance & there too much line noise going through the line guide on the reel & the line stacks up on one side of the spool. For throwing those lighter bait the Revo Toro will be your best bet IMO. |
