| The muskies are still going. This report will be from this past Saturday until today. Last saturday we had six guide boats out with a total of 4 fish the biggest being 30lbs 48" (FATTY. Sunday had six guide boats out got 4 again the biggest a 38". Monday I was guiding got 1 fish 32". Tuesday got 2 short fish and 1 pretty good fish got off. Wednesday Crash was out and they got 2 fish the biggest a 36". Today I was out and my clients got 2 fish the biggest a 33". I guess I must have used all my luck on Saturday since then I have not seen a big fish. All these fish are still shallow. Every cove you can think of will have a fish in it. YES still on RATTLE TRAPS!!!! Except the 2 from today were on a Sledge. Today we have rainy front coming in it's not going to be enough to hurt anything. I think the fishing will get better and better once post spawn starts and the fish start roaming a little more. If you are coming this way this weekend you should move some fish. Spots like Warix, Buckcreek, Big Cave Run,etc... The water temp. is 57-60. Spinnerbaits will start shortly if the water stays like this. Right now just throw a Rattle Trap and a Sledge and you will move fish. If you come to the Cave stop by and say hello. We have a order of Lakewood Tackle Boxes, and St. Croix Rods. Good Luck!!! |

When post spawn gets in gear these fish will flat rock-n-roll!!!!! The water was 63 degrees when I got off the water. I will try to get you that picture this week. |
