It must be Sponge season. The peeps are invading the stores,( the sugary kind that taste great and only appear during this holiday season).

Yes indeedy! Looking forward to to jamming down on some of those tasty little sugar bombs meself Sunday morning. The only thing that can come close to the mallow peeps are the orange circus peanuts; both of which will bring on a temporary case of diabetes! Can't pass up those speckled eggs either...

Hey Sponge.. do you like 'em right out of the package or other ways? Lots of peeps like to eat peeps after they get hard and stale and then there are some who like to nuke 'em in the microwave. Ever go into withdrawls between seasons? Try reg marshmallows rolled in jello powder.

Usually we put the daggone things on a coat hanger, set fire to a couch cushion in the driveway and chow down! The sugar coating lights up real easy, and the aroma draws both unwanted neighbors and mammals from all around; hence the name "Pied Piper of Peeps" here. When they get hard enough to crack a windshield, we soak them in a glass of Kool Aid; brings 'em back to their former glory!

***Thanks Artie! I couldn't remember what I'd done w/ those things; they are diving gloves, and I don't dive, but the price sure made me wallet take a dive. I'll e-mail the address; send yours and I'll relay the postage back to you, or send you a Rat-l-Trap!Lol.....

Never ate any of  those nasty little yellow squishy critters. Missing something, am I? Chocolate...

Now THERE is a delight.

Bunnies I don't have to shoot. Cool.

What the heck is with Rabbits and eggs, anyhow? Be like a Chicken handing out rabbit feets, just plain weird.

Remember, What the Door Mouse Said.....

Seeing as how you and I and some of the others are pretty close in age, I find it hard to understand how we can use the term "weird", especially growing up in the time frame we did!;) Run out to Waldo Mart, purchase a pack of PEEPS; everyone should experience them at least once in their time here on Jupiter. Pick up some of those malted Speckled Eggs too; they contain the neccesary chocolate you want. Dump
the package of Peeps into a sauce pan over low heat...pay no attention to their screams, and gently stir until they quiet down. Once they start to slightly bubble, blend them together until they become one solid mass; then take from stove top and emerse in cold water until the steam clears, then spoon into a fruit bowl lined w/ wax paper and place in fridge. After 2 hours, rip off a hunk and head to the couch w/ a glass of buttermilk!

Worrall..What did the door mouse say?

You had better try them once like Sponge says..only skip that gooey sounding mess he is refering to. Just open up the package and let 'em sit out for a week or so to firm up a bit. Then they have a nice snap to them.
