Posts: 2361 | Due to another vicious encounter with the musky population, and an ill advised hook set in a bush, my RHG("PEARL PUMPKIN") has lost one of his little wicka wicka's and will soon need surgery if he is going to continue his fish catching ways. Consultation with another rubber surgeon of some skill, and certain tests, indicate two possible solutions, either amputate the wicka wicka off my deep sea RHG("LEADBELLY")and try a single wicka wicka transplant, or a total tail amputation and transplant, the third possibility, forming a new wicka wicka out of synthetic materials, does not seem feasible or within my financial capabilites at this time. The surgery will occur, of neccessity, before the next fishing trip. If you don't feel prayer is meritted, please send money or cold beer. Thankyou all. PS Todd M, by the time you catch one on your Rubber hairy glider, it will be so commonplace to catch fish on them, you will not even make the 6 o clock news...if the operation is successful that is....

Posts: 20219 Location: oswego, il | Thanks FSF, sounds like I need not even get my wicka out. And I have polished it all winter too. Thanks FSF for dashing my hopes and dreams. Getting on the news is not a problem for me, I just made the FBI's top ten most unwanted list anyway.;-) Got my pearl rubberhairy in the mail today, slime for me saturday!

Posts: 2361 | Well, my name aint SECONDsixfeet now is it????? Some of us get to be first, and some of us....well.....don't. I would like to know how you got a pearl colored one and I got this "pumpkin somethin" color though. Since I am doing a lot of technical, important, ground breaking stuff, I should have got the color I wanted I think. And besides that I have to defray my surgery and photo devloping costs too, and of course, beer. Edited by firstsixfeet 4/17/2003 9:56 PM

Unlike beer, this lighter fits easily in the pocket, too. Fixing a wicka requires surgical skill, about as much as lighting a cigar. The tough part is administering the anesthesia. Rubberhairy Gliders are very sensitive creatures, and should be protected from the intense pain of surgery. Use about 3 beers, and you won't feel a thing. Top ten Unwanted. I haven't even made that grade, ToddM.

Posts: 2361 | LOL. No, you are getting mixed up, my rubber hairy glider has had to change it's name from "pearl pumpkin" to "black butt" due to the transplant operation. Sad, sad story, that. Luckily all soft plastics have the same blood type.
