I've been making baits for a while now and would appreciate some feedback on my glides and jerk baits

Wow those are impressive, I really like the designs of them. Are they all made out of wood or plastic?

Appreciate the comments gents. I know my painting skills aren't the best but the baits do get eaten! The glide has huge erratic action and the bottom one- my buddy dubbed it the "Anvil" (because it kept getting 'hammered' he said) is a pull/swim bait. I started experimenting with that this season. I caught fish on it with a medium steady retrieve letting the tail thump along and with a swim/pull/pause retrieve. I weighted it to fall vertically on a horizontal plane when paused which really triggered fish this year. Its a wooden body with rubber tail - really versatile and durable so far.

3stripe,
Good job on your patterns and painting. I like an erratic jerk bait, and the deep body gives it a good profile. X2 about liking the differences of your pull bait from what's on the market. I'd definitely give both of these a try. PM me if you decide to sell any. Nice work.

The Anvils look awesome! I like the sounds of them, and that's an awesome name too.

What do you use to attach the tails on those Anvils? A sheetrock screw in the opposite direction?

Thanks to all you guys who pm'd me and expressed interest in my Anvil bait and those that stopped by the Handlebarz booth at the Chicago show and picked one up. I have some still available so please pm me if you are interested. Let me know if you are interested in a color or tail combo you don't see and I may be able to accommodate you. thanks again - Tim
