I guess I'm lucky. My wife has told me several times to get the boat I want. But she knows I won't make any foolish decisions and have everything covered before I buy a toy.

Growing up the old timers used to tell me " Its easier to ask for forgiveness, than permission "....Never seemed to work though

Well I picked it up Saturday and it seems the wife really liked it. I know I will! She needs a good bath, thick layer of wax or two and some interior cleaning but she will be my perfect musky slaying machine!

When you say "she" do you mean your wife or the boat

Nice choice on that boat, now be sure to include your wife in your big decisions from now on, then you'll fish with peace of mind. 47 years married teaches you lots of lessons.

I bought my brand new 619 in 2005 and to this day when she wants to buy something and I raise my eyebrows at her over the price she says, "um...Ranger Boat?" Fine with me.

I say buy the toys...home ownership isnt all its cracked up to be. As long as you have a roof over your head who cares??? If you're and outdoorsman you spend the least amount of your time at home anyways!
