| I recently purchased some split rings and added them to my crankbaits. Should I add them to my jerkbaits as well as my bulldawgs and medussas? My plan is to add them to these baits but decided to get the general consensus first.
Also is there any baits out there that you would not add them too. |

Location: Minnesota: where it's tough to be a sportsfan! | My general rule of thumb is if I need a larger opening for my larger snaps to go on I add a split ring to the bait. If the bait has a big enough loop I do not. |

| I agree with Jakejusa,I put them on if I think the lure is not moving freely enough,my thought is to get most action out of the bait |

Location: Yahara River Chain | Yes on all baits. I forgo the snaps its just too weak of a point not to eliminate them. I use both Worth and triple rings depending on the size of the eye. I use a solid ring on all my leaders with the exception of very heavy jerkbait leader (>0.03 dia). |
