Hi guys,

Looking for info on the fishing and/or accomodations for these 3 bodies of water in the Perrault Falls area of Ontario. Has anyone from the board ever fished any of these lakes? If so, what has been your experience (either positive or negative)? Which lake would provide the best shot at a big fish? Also where would be a good place to stay? So far I have found the following resorts...

Cliff Lake
1. Lost Bay Resort
2. Sharpe's Cliff Lake Lodge

Cedar Lake
1. Cedar Lake Lodge
2. Hagar's Cedar Point Resort
3. Jerry and Ellie's Cedar Lake Camp
4. Keystone Lodge
5. Wogenstahl's

Perrault Lake
1. Rainbow Point Lodge
2. Rocky Shore Lodge
3. Manotak Lodge

If anyone has any experience with any of these lodges or info on the fishing experience, I would appreciate any feedback you could give me.

Thanks in advance,
"Jackpot" John Schroeder

I've fished Cliff for the last few years and have been disappointed lately. Last year we had a pretty big group of guys on the lake and no one saw a legit 50 inch fish all week. Quite a few of the fish had red spot on them and I was told it is tough on the bigger muskies (over 40"). This may explain why we haven't been seeing the big boys lately. We are going to try some other lakes this year.

I have fished Cedar and Perrault. I liked the area and the lakes, and caught fish up to 49" in Cedar over the years. It's been awhile, but back then the biggest I could confirm out of there was 54". Numbers are good, and so is quality.

I drove up from the Goon (DRYDEN), so didn't stay in a resort in that area.

Cliff was good to me also, with the size running mid 40 class on the upper average. Isn't Canyon up there too, seems like I fished that also.

I fish Cedar, caught a 55" last year. I have tried other lodges, but found Hagar's Cedar Point to be to my liking. It is centrally located and the owners are great people. Finding a place to stay on Cedar can be tough, rebooking runs over 85% at most of the lodges. I know one that doesn't rebook that high, and there is a reason for it. I tried Cedar in early July and got to sightsee muskies all day in the reeds, but they were sluggish and not eating. Now I go in August and saw seven 50 inch class fish last year during my week. 13 muskies over 54" were caught on Cedar last year and none of them were kept.
