Im having issues with air leaking into my gas lines one my 1996 ranger 681 VS. I had the pump ball replaced and it is still showing issues. I will be swapping out the fuel water separator next. I am just wondering how difficult it is to replace the lines, and if there are any other issues that it could be. Thanks in advance for the info!

consider replacing all of the fuel lines. newer ones are much better quality especially as it relates to ethanol use.

Give Ranger a call and see what they say. They have always been helpful when I call with questions.

Call a Ranger dealer or marine repair place and have them do it they have way's of doing it and have them replace any other aps that need replaced like bulge pumps or have a transducer put in. I had to replace mine on my 1998 Hydra- sport , bought it new in 1999 and replaced the gas line last fall. The boat is as good as new but I am on my second motor.
