Hard to buy all US built/made these days. Very tough indeed.

It's too bad Penn hasnt designed a muskie size lopro with their usual durability. Friend of mine uses a Penn Fathom.

Penn International 955, 965, and 975 are built in the U.S. And I'd be all in on a Penn low pro-filer. kdawg

I use Penn spinning reels a lot for trolling small baits. Mainly because it is more fun to reel them in with spinning gear. The Penn are great spinning reels. I bet the international are the bomb for trolling big baits. Just bought a Henry Rifle mainly because made in the USA. I never used to think about that stuff but now I do

Love my Henry. Sweet shooter. Just wish I could buy ammo for it without having to stand in line.

Avets are US made. Decent reels for the money.
