 | Figured this was the best forum for this request... Does anyone have research data on the impact muskie anglers have on the economy? I don't care where it's from or how old/recent but it should be published so I can cite the paper.

 Thanks in advance!

 | Another that I'm looking for if you have it: Angler characteristics and economic impacts of Chautauqua Lake's (New York) renowed muskellunge fishery, 1965-1986. Fisheries management controversies: biology, economics, and politics

 | I remember reading in an old esox angler magazine I believe where putting muskies in pomme de terre was worth 3/4 of a million dollars to the economy. That's alot of biscuits. gravy!

 | Just graduated from the UW system and they have a pretty extensive collection of peer reviewed articles, studies, and journals available to students online.. I did a few searches on the subject for you, but came up empty.. Good luck.

 | Thanks fishfinder!! There doesn't seem to be much out there. Time to find a grad student that wants to study the economy of muskies. |
