Posts: 230 Location: St Paul, Minnesota | Joe Bucher and Rich Belanger have been teasing us for sometime about the new series. It's shown up in several of Bucher's shows and even as early as today on the Fishing with Joe Bucher facebook page. Judging by what I saw on the show and in an article where Joe mentioned it a little bit I suspect it will be a Legend Xtreme Musky series rod that will utilize a similar "Xtreme Skin Handle", but who knows when it will actually hit the market. I cornered the St.Croix rep at the Wausau Expo and tried to pry as much about the rod as I could from him, and while he did acknowledge it, other than a few mischevious smiles it's all pretty hearsay as to the final specs and when we'll actually see it. Fingers crossed for iCast 2015.

Posts: 667 Location: Wisconsin | Backtroller - 11/19/2014 11:10 AM Any word of the approximate price? I am thinking more than the LT rods. Yes, I am sure they will be. The Elite Salmon rods are all North of $400, so I would guess they would be similar in price??

I was joking, cutting 2 inches off the tip is not custom....

Posts: 761 | I've almost always fished with St. Croix rods, love all mine. But 400 - 500 dollars for a fishing rod, come on man. How about adding new rods to the triumph series for us regular family guys. Kdawg
