Last Friday Oct 24th there were plenty of green weeds still out there. Lots of milfoil coated with green slime. You can see some brown areas where the weeds have died off as well.

Tonka 51.5 - 49.7 Spring Bay Park area
Tough day, Dragged a sucker all day and casted glide baits, rise/dive jerk baits and Pounders from dawn till dark. Never saw a fish all day. At 5:30pm, had the sucker get hit fast - set the hook, came up empty. Only action all day, thought with the 25 mph winds that came in late afternoon something would go.

Monday's temp out on Tonka were 49. Fished from 10-5:30 and nothing. Didn't even see a fish.

43 degrees this morning on the West side. 17+ MPH howling wind from the northwest.
Had one good sized musky follow up to the boat, then gone. No action on the suckers.

Was out on Eagle on the 8th. Temp was 42.7. Wind was horrible and I didn't feel like fighting it on Tonka.
Saw nothing in 2.5hrs. Hanging it up for the year.

Depending on where you were on Tonka yesterday, had 41.7 up to 46. Dragged suckers all day and only had action from 3:30-4:30pm. Had 3 good opportunities and choked on 2 of them. Hit 'em too early.
