I use best fishing times. Never used any others so not sure how it compares. Shows the majors minors sun and moon rise set and it adjusts based on your location. It seems pretty accurate.

I have iSolunar on my iphone which can use location data to adjust times and shows Moon Rise, Overhead, Moon Set, Underfoot, Illumination, Sunrise and Sunset as well as what they think are the Majors, Minors and it rates the fishing day, 1 to 4 fish...

Looking for app info specific to Android system phones....iSolunar appears to be specific to iphones. Does Time2Fish include Moon Underfoot/Overhead, along with the standard info? I couldn't find that information on their product description. Solunarcast does have that included. What are the drawbacks to Solunarcast versus Time2Fish?

I use an app called Solunar Table on my Android phones (used it for years on 3 different Android phones). It's an inexpensive pay version (only had to pay for it on the initial phone - it didn't cost anything to install on upgraded phones). It is very nice and has all the info you need including auto-adjusting for your location plus manual adjusting for another location (when you're investigating for a future trip or researching for past trips). I've attached a screen shot from the main tab which shows all the main peak fishing time and solunar events. If the attachment is gigantic (like it appeared to be when I view it) be sure to click on the "Zoom -" link a couple times.

I just kill a chicken and read the entrails

Just fish hard the whole time your out you have no idea what app the muskies are using.

if the app says fishing sucks your not going put everything into your quest.

For intrest check your results later or during the winter.

Fishing Calendar is a great one. It shows a month view with hot lunar days and adjusts to user location via gps. Shows all the data like minors, majors, moon phase, etc. you can track months ahead if you are planning a trip.

I do not base my fishing off the app, but I like to have it as a reference at the end of the day to see if there is any coinciding info (usually there is). It also helps on trips so you can make sure you are repeating the steps that worked previously the day prior. I don't have enough free time to only fish when a little app says I should.

I use the musky hunter app. Very easy to see when the hot times are on the day I'm out. I don't base my efforts on it but if I've seen a fish I will go back on it or at least get my self on a good spot at peak time.
That being said, my friend and I are planning a trip in August and I went into the calendar. The whole month is off one day? It says that the 24 is a Saturday when in reality it's a Sunday? Weird.

Matt check out isolunar. It's great, you can save all your fishing locations, view specific days, weeks, and months. Good for planning future trips!

This season I used Fishing Calendar and Musky Hunter apps on my iPhone.

The Fishing Calendar app is great for viewing the solunar table information on a monthly and daily basis. The daily fishing efficiency graph is easy to read and target your best fishing times.
https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/fishing-calendar/id305708971?mt=8

The Musky Hunter app takes into account weather, like barometric pressure changes to graph the best time to fish during the next 24 hours. The animation is a little hokey. You also get alerts pushed to your phone to tell you the peak fishing times in the next day on your chosen lakes.

Both are good tools for planning purposes.

I use fish predictor on my iPhone. But only use it as a reference to see if the activity on that particular day related to any major/minor or anything like that. It's been about 50/50. I rely more on the weather than anything when it comes to fishing. I have seen 5 star days with no action, and 1 star days I have caught 6 fish this year so… the answer is just fish when and as much as you can

For iphone app, I use the musky hunter app. But I really only use the app to compare, for I have found through comparing weather channel, local weather forcasts, the app, and a website called HAMWEATHER, that the hamweather/lunar/solar tables are the most accurate. I'll print off the entire month of moon/sun times and then the days that I'm going fishing, I just write the times on the inside of my forearm in a marker. It shows sunrise/sunset/moonrise/moonset/moonoverhead/moonunderfoot.

http://wx.hamweather.com/local/us/wi/madison/solunar.html

The link is for Madison, but you can type in wherever you are fishing, and then click the SUN/MOON tab at the top to find the page with the times.

I have used a few and www.usprimetimes.com is the best one out there that I have found/used. It'll go to a mobile version when using it on your phone.
