When the snow starts flying and musky season is quickly coming to an end in northern WI my musky fever flares up. During the season not as much. I'm sure many others fall victim to the symptoms of Esox Influenza this time of year. Am I right or am I right?

Totally right...I was planning on going out Saturday and now there's about 1% chance and it's killing me! Holding out hope for a thanksgiving warm-up and one last trip out.

Here in southeastern WI, we could be ice fishing muskies by Thanksgiving too. This Polar Vortex is going to ice things up quickly!

I spent the weekend on Mille Lacs. Ice up reels, iced up casting deck, relentless wind.....My muskie fever is cured. I don't care if I make another cast for months.

Not all of us. It's 73 here in WV today. LOL
It will be getting colder over the next week, but we hardly ever have to deal with complete ice cover.

Take the good with the bad..... We have more time to fish but we don't have the fish or the waters that you Northern guys have.

That takes some kind'a moxy! More than I've got.

Nice try...my rigs been in storage for a few weeks already and I'm jonesin'...Lucky that I have a few other hobbies to keep me busy.

I got the text this morning. Lakes are frozen in the Park Rapids area, looks like ill be in the woods/or drinking my muskie fever away.

Good year already cant wait tell next year.
