| My little boy and I were fishing at a local pond in a park and my little boy caught a 12-14" fish. I thought it was a baby muskie buy am unsure since I have heard pike don't get there white dots until they get older. This fish had vertical black lines and was definately from the pike or muskie family, any guesses as to what it was? I thought it was a muskie but talked to a park ranger who said they had confirmed pike in there. I couldn't believe it we were chucking Storm Thundersticks for bass and next thing I know my little 6 year old is screaming pike. It was funny and that thing got it pretty deep in, had to get the pliers to get it out, but the coloring looked more like a muskie than a pike to me. |

| They could have been Pickerel, a few small ponds around here [south east WI] are over run with the little buggers. |

Location: Davenport, IA | The thunderstick is the secret baby esox weapon! I caught a spotted muskie that was 16-18" a couple weeks ago on a 2.5" thunderstick when i was fishing for bass. Maybe I shouldn't let the secret out. |

Well, not exactly it had dark green in it like the pike but black lines like the tiger muskie only alot darker. I guess I'm lost. In a couple of weeks when the film is used up and I get them developed I post a pic and let you guys see if you have any ideas. Thanks

| Gave my favorite Thunder Stick to my brother a couple years ago to use, and he caught a musky on it; broke the lip off and ripped out the front treble! I had caught a bunch of rockfish on that bait, and something about that certain bait made it better than other T Sticks I had, even the same size and pattern. Wish I had just said NO!!! |

| Raze 1, when you say Thunderstick jr. surely your not talking about the 2 1/2" one are you? I think a muskie that big would destroy that little lure, much less get them little hooks through the roof of his mouth. I've had good luck with the little Thundersticks though, I've caught quite a few small mouth and walleye on them and today was using it for large mouth and caught 3. Thanks for all the replies all. Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | I have caught 20 pound plus pike on Thundersticks. A few years ago, I got a near 50" fish on the Goon fishing smallmouth bass with a Jr. model. |
