Headed up north in a few weeks. What lake would you guys suggest for muskie and pike on the Manitowish Chain? More looking for numbers of fish than size. Thanks in advance.

If you're looking for numbers I would fish Wild Rice and Alder. Easy to fish but it's a long boat ride from the rest of the chain.

Location: oswego, il
Scenic boat ride too. Fish the weed edges. Dont be afraid of stone, fawn or clear either.

The channels between Manitowish and Alder and Alder to Wild Rice have tons of pike. Mostly small but some decent ones. I have caught skis in Little star, Little Manitowish, Wild rice, Rest and in the channel from Alder to Wild Rice. Biggest fish we have caught was on Little Star and the biggest fish I have ever seen was in the Alder/Wild rice Channel.
