Location: Kentucky | Got up at 4:30 am this morning to take my son turkey hunting (youth weekend in KY ) and it was 50 degrees! Got to the the farm at 5:45 am and it was 40 degrees. Bought froze my tucas off!! I'm leaving for the cave at 4:30 am on Sunday morning w/ Esoxalot, Sputterbug and Mossfrog and I'm already cold just thinking about it!! What the heck happened to that 70 degree weather we had yesterday!!!! Good luck to everyone this weekend!! OH - by the way, Chris,Lance,Glen, $1 in the hat for the first legal!!!! See 'ya Sunday!!! |

Location: Kalamazoo, MI | Could be worse!
When we got to the launch site on Webster this morning, it was 32f. Thats not including the 10-20mph winds that were steady all day. Ended up getting snowed on, and im sure with the wind chill it was down in the teens. Couldnt take a break in between casts for more than 3-5 seconds or the line guides would be so frozen up theyd foul the cast! |
