Hey MFr's. Any of you familiar with Big Fork river (located in north west MN) and could offer up some access points for a small 14' aluminum? Highly appreciated

All I've heard was that the river is too high and flowing rather quickly and wasn't safe to be out there.

It's very high and the water is ripping! Not an ideal time to fish it until water drops.

You can access it in the town of Bigfork, there is a ramp to back down there. There are a lot of bridge crossings that you could access if you can carry your gear to the river edge.

As others have said it is high and flowing fast.

Ah what a drag. I figured we hadn't had any mAjor precipitation in a week or so but darn! I would imagine that the high water has quite the impact on water clarity.

http://river-depth.com/graphs/05132000?period=1 I dunno guys. The levels in big fall are normal or slightly above average. Ha either way I'm committed to the trip. I'll be sure to post if I get into them.

The further south you go the clearer the water will be. Good Luck.
