Location: Kronenwetter, WI | I'm not much of a walleye guy, but wanted to take my 11 year old son on a trip to catch a lot of fish, so on a good tip I called Hidden Bay out of Sioux Lookout and their hospitality was unmatched. Shaggy is the guy who handles the logistics and is also the pilot. He's a great guy and looked out for the smallest of thoughtful details (like when my son was sitting in the passenger seat he noticed he couldn't see over the dash so he says......"I have an idea" and proceeds to the rear of the cargo hold to rerun a short time later with something to boost him up).
I'm sure there are tons of great options, any of them would be great, but wanted to give a shout out to these fine folk.
If you have ever thought of doing a walleye fly in, take the plunge, start saving up and make a call. We caught so many fish my hands were sore after the first day from being poked and cut up. I though I'd share a movie I made to commemorate the trip..

| Great video! I used to take similar Canadian fishing trips with my dad for pike/walleye, but we didn't have the technology to document it as well as you. Its awesome that you could get so much video and make a memorable movie to hold too. |
