Location: North St. Paul, MN | Looking for some ideas about a northern MN trip for 3 to 4 guys. Here are some of what I'm looking for and options on our end...
Multi-species: good/decent Walleye, smallmouth bass, pike, maybe muskies but doesn't have to have muskies
Smaller lake: Not looking at Mille Lacs, Vermilion or Leech or something similar. Would like to keep it small.
Will be pulling our own boat, 17ft. alumacraft w/75 h.p. Sp. we will have the option to jump around from lake to lake.
Nice/Reasonably priced cabins w/ dock capability.
What do you think? Does it exist for what I'm looking to do? |

Location: Minneapolis, MN | The cass lake chain could be good as you have the ability to go into multiple lakes depending upon action and weather. |

Location: oswego, il | I will still suggest vermillion. Www.glennwoodlodge.com they are located on the northeast corner of the lake. Its located across the east side of pine island and fishing there and the north side of that island is your "small lake" experience with the species you desire. Great cabins, good docks, located between Ely and tower. |

Location: Ames, Iowa | Moose Lake near Deer River north of Grand Rapids. I think Moose Lake lodge is the place. |

| If it doesn't have to have muskies I'd go up and fish some of the water around Ely outside of the BWCA. |
