Water temps here in the Canadian sheild country are rising we are at 57 now up from 52the other day.have seen some real giants in the shallows it so much fun to see them again, not pairing up yet but they are just feelin the warmth, smallmouth are on the reefs and we are catchin sm northerns and lake trout with out moving the boat just casting lip less crank baits and rattle traps I just love this time of year.We had a guest the other day catch a 39 1/2 laker I'm guessing 25-30 lbs what a great fish he was very excited, well I think the Muskie opener we be a great one with this warm stable weather
And high water.more reports comin.later Don
