Posts: 667 Location: Wisconsin | Reading all the good reviews on these glasses, so I wonder those that have them, do the fit FAT heads?? I have a hard time finding glasses that don't pinch my temple and behind my ears. Thanks! The "Brine" says large fit on the website, anyone have these?

Posts: 294 | Costa has a ton of models and yes there are ones that fit fat heads! Ha. I would consider myself as one with a fatter head, although not as fat as my uncles, that guy has a dome. I own the Fantails and really like them.

Posts: 291 Location: Madison, WI | Im a bigger guy, 6'2" 250 and have found that Fathoms fit well. My advice is to find a dealer that has alot of options in stock and try them all on. You will find a style and size that will fit and it will make dropping the 150-250 on them so well worth it. I wouldnt trust ordering something that expensive online without trying them on.

Posts: 294 | Agree with predlur. If there is a Cabelas near you they have a great selection. If they don't have the frame color or lens color you want you can order them and have them shipped to the store for free.

Posts: 1220 | I have a pair with the diopter (readers) built in as a bi-focal. You only get four or five frame styles to choose from that come this way.....but when you're old enough to need them, function trumps style. Great glasses!

Posts: 100 Location: W-PA | I have a big head and the Costa Permits were the biggest frames that I found. They fit my big head. We do not have any Costa dealers close, so while at the beach I tried on just about every frame they offer. Seems like they are in every store on NC coast. Edited by cband 6/18/2014 7:48 AM

Location: MN | I have a fat head and Jose's fit me. If you really have a fat head you may need something larger. Finding a costa rep with a good inventory is tough is some parts of the country. You could always order online from a company with a good return policy and exchange them if they don't fit. Worse thing is you would pay some additional shipping cost.

Posts: 284 Location: Eagan, MN | I went to an on-line sunglass distributor here locally that also had a small retail storefront. Tried on 15 different kinds of Costas to see which fit my GIANT head/face. I settled on the Hammerhead 580 glass. Bought a second pair a year later. If you can't find a place to try them on (recommended), the Costa website actually shows you the size of the various sunglasses they offer. Maybe you've already seen that. Stick with the largest sizes and you should be okay? Brian Edited by BrianF. 6/18/2014 9:47 AM

Posts: 62 Location: Madison, WI | The website actually has the fit on each style. I have a large head also and went with the Tuna Alley's which have a "large" fit. (Note: I should have read all the responses first, don't mind the duplicate suggestion) Edited by CnR_Angler 6/18/2014 2:38 PM

Posts: 294 | I was just at Gander here in Green Bay and noticed they have a large selection as well. I would say pretty close to if not the same as Cabela's. Also I have found the web site to be pretty accurate.
