Still new to musky fishing and just trying to see what's in the area. Looking for a good guide in the Tristate area. Anyone have any recommendations? I fished with Red Childress in northern PA on the Allegheny River and caught a nice fish just looking for some closer guides. I found Mark Nicholas who guides on the lower Allegheny River outside PA which is about 2 hours away, anyone know this guy? Found only one guide on the Potomac River which is right in my neck of the woods but he moved out of the area. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. I'm in Western MD.

Mike woefell is a good guide in wv. He typically guides more south an central wv. Check wv musky outfitters online and Facebook.

I stumbled across the same guide I think you did who used to guide on the Potomac. I guess he's off to college now, would have loved to learn how to catch muskie on the Potomac (or anywhere for that matter). Will be paying close attention to the responses to this thread, as I would also love to find a good guide in this area. Would also love to hear if anyone knows anything about fishing muskie in the Potomac.
