Posts: 129 Location: Bemidji, MN- | Are there any good INSTRUCTIVE musky videos out there. I don't just want to watch somebody catch fish - I want something that will increase my knowledge base and improve my catch ratio. Patterning fish and seasonal patterns would be of interest.

Posts: 532 Location: Chicago, IL | I know last off season I bought the Saric set of tapes and I love them. They are really informative (even the old one's where he has funny 80's shorts) and I know I picked up soem good ideas. The last two I beleive "Musky Hunter Tactics" & "Muskies at the Next Level" are really awsome. In all I have probably watched the whole set over 2 dozen times and I still enjoy them. -Phil

Posts: 1936 Location: Eau Claire, WI | Otter, I would suggest the following: From an educational standpoint: Steve Heiting's Musky's on the Move is about one of the best I've seen, especially for newer anglers or multi-species folks looking to get a handle on the basics. From a lure presentation and entertainment standpoint: Pete Maina's Musky/Lure Techniques 3 is pretty good and of course the footage with Gillespie is hillarious. Hope this helps,

Posts: 100 Location: Hayward, WI | I'll also give my support for the In-Fisherman series ... I've seen them all and have memorized the ones I own after watching them over and over. My favorite would have to be "The Greatest Muskie Film Ever Made". The title speaks for itself ... Mike
