| My unit does not turn off when stowed. The system ready light stays on and the prop will run if I turn on motor. I noticed the little wire that connect the two parts of the unit is cracked. Could this be the problem?

| The switch is a magnet under the side plate near the lever. Its a single white wire. Easy to test with a magnet.

| Thanks. The wire was not the problem. The handle that pushes in to stow motor cracked. The metal rod that runs through it was out of the hole in the handle. I did not figure out how that rod trips the switch but when I pushed it back in motor switched off.
I will need a new handle. As a temporary fix, I tied a piece of braid around the rod and tied it off to the handle. |
