I moved up a few years in my tow vehicle and now have a 2013 GMC Yukon that has the hitch inside the bumper. The receiver hitch I used before had a two inch drop and worked fine cause the hitch was under the bumper. Now I think I need and 7 or 8 inch drop so the trailer is level instead of tilled up when towing. Anyone know where these can be had for a reasonable price?

I see you're from iowa. Did you look at Tyson's or a farm and fleet

If you can't find one that will work. Go to a weld shop and have one made

My dad had to get the longest drop possible at Fleet Farm which I think was 10". I was shocked when I saw how high up the receiver is on these new GMs.

When I switched from my pick up to a Yukon, I had to get an 8" drop and bought it at Menard's. It is still a little high for my utility trailer. Fleet and Menard's did not have a 10" or I would have bought that. You would think with the popularity of these vehicles, Yukons/Suburbans, they would sell a lot of the 8" & 10" drop hitches.

I've had good luck with etrailer.com, they have pretty much everything you could possibly need and then some. Reasonably priced, good service.
