I posted a reply that was deleted because I didn't like the HD Fish Stick? Wow.

Jackpots get fish to come up unlike any other lure I own, but you mine as well take the hooks off them - they are so hard to get hooked up. The bucher dancing raider stays in the water way more and still brings up fish. Awesome bait!

Zora spook.

Zara Spook - just a cheap knock-off of all the baits that came after it

I myself have had success with the 8" Phantom Viper lure but also started throwing the Lee Lure Fish Stick and like the different offering that lure provides. I've had Havana Jacks and Giant Jackpots get blown up out off the water in the past, but I suppose nearly everyone who throws topwater could say that about any lure. I haven't thrown the Water Moccasin but I've heard good things and I've talked to Scott of Musky Safari lures a few times at the expos and I'll say this... He knows his stuff. Food for thought, ultimately I think confidence in a lure puts more fish in the boat than the slight/subtle differences in lures so figure out what you like and throw the hell out of it.

My two favorites are Big Mamma's and One-eyed Willy. By the way Spooks have their time and place ... yes they can get blown out of the water but under post frontal tough conditions they work.

Musky Safari - Water Moccassin!! Cannot believe it hasn't been mentioned yet. Very similar to the weagle but moves more water and comes in better color patterns. Scott K (the owner) makes each of them by hand...
