Heading to Missouri for a week and a half and would like to fish a day for Muskies, I'll be around Lake of the Ozarks. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Pomme de Terre would be the closest lake stocked with muskies. The Kansas City Star fishing report today states muskie is fair.
Although the Missouri state record was caught in the Lake of the Ozarks, don't expect to catch any muskies there.
Fellows Lake down by Springfield is limited to 40hp and requires a boat permit. The marina rents boats.
When will you be in Missouri?

Wow, all the way from Seattle. Looks like the weather should be in the 80's next week. I plan on going down to fish a few days.

I'm not sure how many guides there are on Pomme de Terre, but the following two fish for muskies.

Earle provides a weekly fishing report to the Kansas City Star newspaper.

I've never hired a guide, but I would be asking if they mostly trolled or cast for muskies, as well as, what type of baits, etc. they liked to fish with.
Good luck on your trip.

I cant help you yet,im still in Florida for a few more weeks. Best bet in Missouri is Fellows for bigger/healthy fish. Just dont spread the word

I haven't been out in a couple weeks because of work but the Muskies are really starting to turn on. Several 40+ inch fish have been caught in the past couple weeks so your coming down at a good time. As Bob and Fred mentioned Pomme or Fellows are your best bets. You can rent boats at both lakes and if you fish Pomme I can't help you as I have never fished Pomme. If you want to drive down to Fellows PM me and I can line you out on where to go. If you were here on a Saturday I might be able to meet you and just take you out.
Good luck.
