Posts: 74 | Donnie, I don't know if you still live in Grandville, but if you do Tom Stinson is the closest quality painter around you. He lives in Rockford and does tremendous work. I can give you his email if you're interested.

Location: Eastern Ontario | Just out of curiosity what is the going rate for a lure repaint? What would qualify a lure to be worthy of a repaint? Would you spend $20 to repaint a lure and pay postage 2 ways that you can buy for $25 ? Edited by horsehunter 5/1/2014 7:58 AM

Posts: 95 | I believe if I send out 20 lures to have them painted, if it's gonna cost $20 to have them painted, the answer is no... wouldn't be worth it. NOW, I DO have a couple of lures that need to be resealed and repainted that have caught me 40-50 fish each, and have the right "action," but feel they need a touch up... for $20 on a tried and true lure, absolutely!!

Posts: 791 Location: WI | I do a lot of repaints. As Paul said, a lot of the price depends on the condition of the lure aswell as the amount of prep required. My prices range from $10 for a scuff and paint, to 15 or so for something with bad hook rash or a lot of repair. You can see my work aswell as the work of many other guys that are very talented in the basement section.
