Location: minocqua, wi. | Shawn … try The Point. it's a conglomeration of hotels, condo's etc… and they have docks. i can get you set up on the chain and we can make a run or mark maps for you for some other lakes around the area too. otherwise, if you want to camp you should consider Indian Shores … they have a few cabins and park models you could use if you don't want to tent camp. it's on Lake Tomahawk but not far from town by either truck or boat. |

Location: South Central Wisconsin | Give us a few more details. Do you want to trailer or stay on the same lake(s)? Open water or structure? Clear or stained water? What kinda cash do you want to spend on lodging? There are some pretty good lakes up there. I'm sure we can point you in the right direction. 
Pretty sure we can hook you up with some good places to eat as well... |

Location: Illinois | Honestly one of the best areas of Wisconsin. Great food with a variety of choices. There are so many lakes in the area that you can get away from the crowds if you so choose. That part you'll have to research. If you don't like what Lake Minoqua has to offer, head east or west on 70. It's all good. Don't overlook the great bass fishing. |

Location: Otsego, MN | I am also headed that way in June. Normally I keep on going and stay near boulder junction. I haven't fished much in Minoqua if any has any recommended lakes I would greatly appreciate it :). I would be willing to share some info on lakes further north...

| Cant go wrong with either arbor vitae's. Better quality fish in big arbor vitae and little is more of an action lake. |

Location: Elgin, IL | It's very Dells like....water skiing shows, Paul Bunyan breakfast place, lots of shops in town with fudge, rubber spears, and moccasins for the kids. And a huge indoor water park. And a pretty good BBQ place just north of town.
Something for everybody, I guess.

I liked his stuff...but I haven't been to the "newer" location by the Little Musky unfortunately because of his hours. Weather he's closing up or not, I'm not sure.
I always had interesting conversations with him. It might have been a long cold winter....

Location: Iowa | I noticed prices are higher than I usually find around other areas I've fished. I'm going to look at options on the Point though. It would be nice to leave the boat in the water, but not necessary since we might hop around a little. Thanks for the suggestions so far. |

One of the best Vilas county guides, Rob Manthei, owns it and is willing to give info, or if you want to really learn something hire him!

Interesting. I stay at the Big Woods Resort on Big St every year. Ill have to make it over there and possibly hire him for a little help on the lake. |

agree Shawn … Fibbers is a great spot and you'll love it there!
we could even consider doing the rodeo over on Big St. with the larger group. We need to get a headcount on who is going to be there.
