Posts: 32934 Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | With light winds and the sun peaking through the fog 91 boats hit the water this morning on Cave Run. Today's forecast is for up to 78 degrees and south west winds from 7 to 15 mph possible, so it looks to be a beautiful day to be on the water. Check back for updates through out the day we will post them as we receive them from the PMTT HQ. Sites and Sounds Video From This Mornings Take Off! Day One From The Water Reports, First report from the water says the bite is slow not many fish being seen so far this morning. Second report from the water. Its still very slow could be one of the slowest days on the Cave for the PMTT. The wind is starting to pick up a bit and could help turn the fish on. There is typically an afternoon bite on the flats, should be crowded in hopes of putting a fish in the net. As the wind picked up in the afternoon there was a few more fish caught. Word from the water is a team or two doubled one of them with a 48.5''. The bite seemed to pick up toward the afternoon and there were some upper 30'' class fish boated. Looks like the fight is on, to place in the top ten going into day two. Total fish caught for day one is 16. Attachments ---------------- ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ||
